Bulldog 10's win the 2010 PreSeason NYTB Classic

The Bulldogs 10 Orange team defeated the SFX Huskies 6 -2 to win the NYTB Preseason Tournament Championship this past weekend. Lucas Hoye was dominant on the mound as he pitched a complete game one-hitter with 10 strikeouts. The offense was driven by Hoye, Patrick Manning and Henry Kaye, who provided two hits apiece. The team was 3 - 1 overall and outscored the opposition 41 - 16, batting a collective .342.

Bulldog 8s Win NYTB 2008 Summer League

Finishing in first place with a 9-2-1 record, the Bdawg 8s won two straight in a two out of three playoff to beat the second place Joe Torre Titans to win the Summer NYTB Pee Wee division regular season and championship playoffs.

The first game was a close 9-6 win with Evan Sinclair the pitching star, recording all but one of the 18 outs. The second game was 13-0 shutout masterfully pitched by Lucas Hoye. The offense was very disciplined and the defense was superb with not a single error committed in either of the two games. And this came on the heels of an outstanding performance in the prestigious Ed Rall Memorial Tournament in Long Island the week before where the team won two straight to reach the championship round as the first seed only to lose to the eventual tournament winner. Congrats to our newest Bulldog team. What a beginning!
