WELCOME TO 78 YOUTH SPORTS

Pony: 7-8 years old

Freshmen: 9-10 years old  

Sophomores: 11-12 years old 

Juniors: 13-14 years old

Seniors: 15-18 years old

The season runs from early December 2025 through mid-March 2026 with one 90-minute session each week. Sessions are hosted in local school gymnasia on Saturday or Sunday, depending up age division, and they include a game are preceded by practice. Final schedules will be determined based on registration school gym availability.

We recommend that you register ASAP, as registration is on a first-come, first-served basis and spots go quickly. Winter 2025 fees:

Pony: $360

Freshmen: $360

Sophomores: $360

Juniors: $360

Seniors: $280

All teams are volunteer-coached and we always need coaches. While registering, please check the volunteer box and we will contact you. For first-timers, know that we pair new coaches with experienced ones whenever possible. 

In our co-ed divisions, we try to balance competition by evaluating all players in anticipation of a draft by the coaches. Teams are formed through division drafts based on evaluations. For competitive balancing reasons, we do not group players based on request. This is recreational basketball, so the focus is on learning and having fun, not the win-loss record.

Avoid the harsh winter weather and sign up for the inaugural season of 78 Youth Sports bowling. Open to ages 8 through 18, the season begins on January 4 and runs through March 15. We roll on Sunday mornings and the league includes three games per week. We welcome beginners and experts alike and coaching is available for all levels.

The cost of the ten-week program is is $260. The registration fee includes lane time, shoe rentals and a 78 YS bowling shirt.
