Fall 2026 Rec Baseball Program Details
It must be that soothing sound... fall teams are filling quickly so be sure to sign up now before you are locked out. That's right, metal bats are back for fall 2026 and on-time registration ends Tuesday, August 18. Any subsequent signups will automatically go to the waitlist, be subject to a $50 late registration fee and be completed on the basis of space available. While we are sensitive to the needs of families planning their fall activities, we must impose deadlines so schedules and rosters can be completed and distributed in a timely manner.
Fall Bats Rules
Ages 8 and under (Pee Wee, Rookies and Hybrid): no restrictions.
Ages 9-13 (Cubs, Bantam and Super Bantam): in addition to wood bats, all USA and BBCOR-certified bats are now permitted for play. There are no restrictions on drop limits or barrel sizes, so long as the bats carry the USA or BBCOR-certified stamp.
Ages
We offer co-ed fall baseball for ages 4 through 17. Players must be no older than the highest age of their division on December 31, 2026. Visit ourwebsite for more information.
Registration
On-time registration fees will apply through August 18, 2026. After that, a $50 late registration charge will apply, provided that the program is not sold out. Teams fill up quickly, so don’t delay.
Fees
Program fees vary by age with older divisions slightly higher, mostly because games are staffed with multiple umpires. Fees go towards uniforms, team equipment, umpires, maintenance, insurance, and administrative expenses.
Baseball cannot be a lifelong passion if you don't start young so this fall we are offering introductory pricing for our youngest participants. Take advantage and register now while there is still space available.

Season
The season runs from September 12 through November 8. There are eight weekends of programming (no games scheduled for Columbus Day weekend) with games played on local fields including Prospect Park, the Parade Grounds, DiMattina and Red Hook. Practice times and locations are decided by each team's coach.
Schedules and Uniforms
Due to the large number of teams and complexity of scheduling, season schedules will not be available until approximately ten days before opening day. Uniforms are picked up and distributed by the coaches prior to the start of the season.
Choosing Teams/Coaches
Players can request a coach during the registration process. If your desired coach is not visible in the registration form it is probable that he or she has not yet registered for the season. If this happens, select "no preference" and upon completion of registration send us anemail with the name of the registrant, the age division and the requested coach.
If your child wants to play with friends, we recommend that parents coordinate with each other and register for the same coach as soon as possible. Limitations on team sizes and the need to balance rosters makes it very difficult to accommodate last minute requests. We cannot guarantee that your child will end up on the team you choose, but we will do our best to honor all requests. Please help us to do that by registering early.
Coaching
Lastly, please consider volunteering as a coach for the upcoming season. We cannot continue to offer high quality programming without the support of our volunteer coaches. We are very fortunate that our programs are in high demand. With that, however, comes the challenge of finding coaches to staff every team. You can help ensure that every child has an opportunity to play by volunteering your time. No prior experience is necessary and we offer plenty of support for new coaches. Simply, check the volunteer box during registration or emailus and we will be in touch.
